Why we do what we do – part 1
As I write this, our releases have had over 930,000+ downloads collectively, and almost two years ago when I started Audiocast Productions, I had no idea we would get anywhere close to that amount, and I had no idea the great and talented people I would meet or the great music that I would be exposed to.
I now find myself on a musical journey of discovery, and that’s what is so great about music, everyone has a different take on it, everyone was inspired to start creating music for a different reason, but the one thing that brings us together is music.
And the best part is that it is untouched by commercialism, it’s not really created to generate any sort of financial gain, its music in its purest form; how the artist truly intended it.
To celebrate our 50th release we thought we’d find out what music means to our artists, what first inspired them to create music and how their music has evolved since they first started and post them up for everyone to see, this is the first in the series.
In this first installment, we speak to Mystified and Mr Headphone.
